Our staff and facility can accommodate just about every medical need that may arise. Orthopedics, Cardiopulmonary Care, Pharmacy, Support Services, Nutrition, a Skilled Nursing Facility, and our Center for Women & Infants are among the most valuable features of CTMC. The spirit of healing flows through CTMC in each and every one of the services we provide you.
Cardiopulmonary Care
Our licensed respiratory care practitioners attend to respiratory-related disorders 24-hours a day. These specialists assist in diagnosing and treating patients with lung or heart disease. In addition, our cardiopulmonary department also performs electroencephalograms (EEGs), diagnostic cardiac stress tests and pulmonary function testing.
Pharmacy
Medication plays an important role in your health care treatment. For that reason, an in-house pharmacy fills physician requests and our licensed pharmacists are available for patients and their families to discuss and explain medication. If you are interested in speaking with a pharmacist during your hospital stay, ask your nurse to schedule an appointment.

Nutrition
A registered dietitian works with your physician to ensure you receive appropriate nutritional care. The dietitian also provides patient education through physician referral or patient request. People wishing to pursue a healthier lifestyle can also schedule a consultation. For a consultation with a registered dietitian, call 512-753-3622
Pediatric Care
A wide range of services, from orthopedic to surgery, is available for pediatric patients who are newborn to 18 years old. The pediatric unit is equipped with nine beds and parents are welcome to stay overnight with their children.
We understand how hard it is for children to stay in the hospital. It is important that our young patients are as happy and comfortable and entertained as they can be within a hospital setting. That is why, upon request, we provide pediatric patients with a TV and VCR, a Playstation with videotapes, reading books and coloring books with crayons.
Cardiac Catheterization
The cardiac catheterization/special procedures lab is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Images of each procedure are stored digitally on CD-ROM and are transferable to other facilities for consultation with other physicians if needed. These sharper images lead to a more accurate diagnosis by the physician, providing more effective treatment. Cardiologists can use the cath lab for placement of permanent, as well as temporary pacemakers; and radiologists and cardiologists, alike, can perform arteriograms in which the arteries in the abdomen, neck, arms and legs are visualized.
