Stars of Texas Gala set for October

On Sunday, October 12 we will recognize the visionary leadership of  the 1983 founders of the CTMC Foundation with gourmet dining, live and silent auctions and entertainment by “Asleep at the Wheel.” This will be the 16th annual CTMC Foundation 'Stars of Texas' Gala.

The 1983 Foundation Board members include:
Stanley
Ault, DDS
Richard Burdick
Ann Cauthorn
Eleanor Crook
Frank Gordon
Bruce Harper
H.C. Kyle, III
Emmet McCoy
Van Rea, M.D.

The 1983 Capital Campaign helped raise nearly $1 million dollars to help construct the four-story building that today serves as the core of Central Texas Medical Center.

The CTMC Foundation continues to further CTMC’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ. Beneficiaries of  past Foundation and Gala fundraising include Hospice, Home Health, the installation of the first cardiac catheterization lab, expansion of the emergency department, childbirth services and women’s imaging services.

This year the Gala will raise funds for the new Neonatal Critical Care Unit (NCCU) that is being developed as part of CTMC’s $35 million expansion project slated to break ground on Sept. 4 of this year.

The evening will feature gourmet dining, a live auction, a silent auction and the very popular 'Asleep at the Wheel.'  To purchase a seat or a table at the Gala or make a donation, call the Foundation office (512) 753-3687, or email Jerilyn.Miller@ahss.org.
