Institute for Healthy Living Offers Numerous Ways to Improve your Health

Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) recently expanded its commitment to prevention and healthy living with the creation of the CTMC Institute for Healthy Living (IFHL). The Institute was created to provide information, education, health screenings and events that emphasize living healthy. A new Healthy Living Resource Center located in the hospital’s main lobby as well as a new Community Classroom just a few steps away, serve as the hub for the new Institute.

The  Institute offers a wide array of additional programs and classes that focus on disease management, support groups, women’s health, nutrition, financial wellness, healthy living for seniors,  children’s health and many others. The Institute also spearheads CTMC’s annual HealthCheck Community Health Screening & Fair.
