CTMC is proud to intoduce the LoneStart Challenge, a wellness initiative that helped 60 CTMC employees lose nearly 400 lbs combined. The program focuses on healthy eating, simple steps toward a more active lifestyle and the support of your co-workers, family and friends to help you with your health goals.
“This worked great for me and made me a believer that we can take care of our own health with just a little effort and commitment,” said Dee Taylor, CTMC Executive Assistant. “I was amazed that after the program I had such great results that I was able to not only get off my cholesterol medication but my blood pressure meds as well!”
Based on the success of the employee experience, CTMC is offering the LoneStart Wellness Initiative to the general public. The behavior-based program provides participants with the opportunity, information, motivation and support to achieve their healthy lifestyle goals by overcoming inactivity and making better dietary choices.
