Texas Reds Salutes Moms and Moms-to-Be

4/27/2009

This Mother’s Day, Central Texas Medical Center is teaming up with Texas Reds Steakhouse in San Marcos to honor mothers in a special way. The award-winning, Texas-style steakhouse will be donating 10% of all proceeds to CTMC on Sunday, May 10.

“We think this is a great partnership because we can honor mothers and mothers-to-be in our community who will be served by the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at CTMC,” said   Nancigail Miller, who co-owns and operates the famous restaurant with her husband Troy.

All Mother’s Day diners will be eligible to win a ribeye dinner for two, prime rib dinner for four and a three-month membership to CTMC's Wellness Center. Texas Red’s is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. Diners will have the option to choose from charbroiled beef steaks, roasted prime rib, buffalo burgers, chicken, lobster, shrimp, lamb, quail, and pork, while enjoying the unique setting of the beautifully restored historic cotton gin that houses the restaurant.

For more information about the Mother’s Day Fundraiser, or to make reservations – (encouraged for this event) call the steakhouse at 512-754-8808.
