Allison Hardy, BSN, RN - Director of Hospice
Growing up in the mountains of Tennessee, Allison always knew she would be a nurse. Her career began in the nursing home setting where she found her true calling working with older adults. As a brand new RN, she started in ICU and moved to several areas of the hospital. She feels she has found her true home here in hospice, where she can practice her passion for giving our patients their best quality of life and living life to the fullest every day. Allison lives in San Marcos with her husband, John, and their son, Turner.
Gregory Moore, MD - Hospice Medical Director
Dr. Moore has been Medical Director for CTMC hospice since 2005, and involved in hospice care since 1992. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. His practice of internal medicine has been located in San Marcos since 1988. He lives in San Marcos with his wife and has two grown children. He is active in his church and enjoys backpacking and sailing.
Jamilla Stone, M.D. - Hospice Physician
Dr. Stone is board certified in Family Medicine with over 16 years of experience in the medical field. She grew up in Lockhart, before starting her education at Rice University. Prior to her work with CTMC Hospice and Live Oak Health Partners, she was a primary care physician and a hospitalist in Luling, Texas and Medical Director for a local hospice. She has volunteered for many organizations, including Doctors at War Against Human Trafficking. She is passionate about and committed to caring for underserved populations and advocating for patient rights. Dr. Stone enjoys international travel/trekking, rock collecting, reading, playing soccer and cooking.
Hilda McKinney, RN - Nurse Case Manager
Hilda has been a nurse for 33 years. She got her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has worked in multiple areas of nursing but really loves working with hospice patients and their families. She has lived in Wimberley with her family for the past 24 years.
Andrea Woehler, RN - Nurse Case Manager
Andrea has been a nurse for 10 years. She was looking for a more personal and meaningful change in career when she found CTMC Hospice. She describes her position here as a wonderful, humbling experience. Her husband is a firefighter and they have a total of five children between them, ranging from seven years to 10 months old.
Lori Lowe, RN - Hospice Volunteer Coordinator/Nurse
After living in Arkansas for 15 years, Lori finally returned home to Texas. Having gone through a personal hospice experience, it became a passion of hers to give back to this community. She loves spending her free time with her husband and three children.
Jackie Duran, LMSW - Social Worker/Community Educator
Having grown up in Dripping Springs, Jackie is a Texas Hill Country native. She attended Texas State University where she graduated with her Master of Social Work degree in 2015. Her passion for providing comfort and support to families during their most difficult moments led to her work in hospice; a field which she finds extremely fulfilling. Jackie lives with her husband, Michael, in Kyle, Texas.
Denise Grant, MDiv - Chaplain
Denise joined the CTMC Hospice Care team in 2017. As the primary care Chaplain, Denise serves our terminally-ill patients and their families who are facing end-of-life issues by providing spiritual and emotional support. Denise holds a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Chaplaincy. Spending time with her family for weekend excursions is the highlight of her week.
Murray Kast, MA, LPC - Bereavement Coordinator/Grief Counselor
Murray is the Bereavement Coordinator and Grief Counselor for CTMC Hospice and the CTMC Family Grief Center. Murray has been with CTMC Hospice for eight years, initially as a volunteer visiting patients and their families. Murray graduated from Texas State University with a Masters in Health Psychology. After receiving his LPC license, he joined the team in his current position. Murray lives in Wimberley and spends time clearing paths on his wooded acreage.
Marcia Julian, MSN, RN - Clinical Supervisor
Marcia has been a Registered Nurse for 33 years with most of those years spent working in home care. In 2009, she received a Master of Science in Nursing degree in Nursing Education and spent many years teaching nursing in the Associate Degree Nursing program at Amarillo College. While she loved teaching nursing, when Marcia and her husband relocated to Central Texas in 2017, she decided to return to nursing practice and found a renewed love of caring for patients and families at CTMC Hospice Care.
Margarita Rodriguez, CNA - Hospice Aide
Margarita has been a CNA for many years. Born and raised in San Marcos, she has worked in different fields as a nursing assistant including private sitting, home health and hospital surgical floor. Encouraged by a former coworker to work for hospice, she enjoys this field the most. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Cindy DeLeon, CNA - Hospice Aide
Cindy was born and raised in San Marcos. She has been a CNA for over five years and loves what she does. She enjoys exercising and spending time with her new grandchild. For the past five years, Cindy and her family have lived in Kyle, Texas.
Brooke Zimmerman - Billing, Payroll and Donations Coordinator
Brooke was born and raised in Michigan and met her husband at school in Illinois. After moving to San Marcos to help establish a church, she has continued to call the Texas Hill Country her home. Brooke has been with CTMC Hospice since June of 2016, first serving as our Volunteer Coordinator, but has recently moved into her new position as Billing, Payroll and Donations Coordinator.
