Senior Care Unit

CTMC's Senior Care Unit was designed by geriatric experts to assist older adults in our community who are experiencing mental, emotional or behavioral challenges. Licensed Psychiatrists and Medical Doctors are available 24/7 for patients in the program. As a hospital-based unit, we can accept patients who have psychiatric diagnosis along with chronic medical conditions.

We are guided by compassion, integrity and quality. We understand seeking help is not an easy decision. Our trained professionals are dedicated to maintaining every patient’s self-respect and dignity throughout all phases of treatment. During an average stay of 14 days, our goal is to meet each individual patient’s
unique needs while providing essential resources and support for families. We focus on restoring optimal function through diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and medical conditions.

Patient and family education is a big part of our unique service. In addition to education and support, families will have access to the CTMC cafeteria, coffee shop, chapel and gardens while visiting loved ones.
