Celebrate Mom and Help CTMC's Women's Center Infant Services
SAN MARCOS, TX – Honor your mother or wife this Mother’s Day by dining out and help local babies at Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) Women’s Center’s Infant Services. Consider a meal at one of San Marcos’ most popular fine-dining establishments. Palmer’s will donate 15% of its proceeds from Saturday, May 7 and 12% of its proceeds on Sunday, May 8.
“Let Palmer’s take care of mom this Mother’s Day and the meal will also make a difference in the lives of babies in our area,” said Monte Sheffield, Owner of Palmer’s Restaurant and Bar. “It is a great pleasure to be a part of a memorable Mother’s Day and help CTMC Women’s Center Infant Services.”
Mom can unwind beneath shade trees in a lush fountain courtyard or enjoy the day from inside a beautifully renovated home built in the 1920’s. Patrons can enjoy Hill Country Caprese, a popular appetizer with Texas goat cheese whipped with olive oil, topped with sliced Roma tomatoes, green onions, basil and balsamic vinaigrette. Fresh salmon and a variety of salads are just a few of the many other items featured on the menu.
“We are delighted Palmer’s has chosen to partner with CTMC and help local babies in need,” said Clay DeStefano, CTMC Administrative Director of PR and Marketing. “It is a wonderful way to celebrate motherhood by treating our mothers to a wonderful meal which will help us continue providing the very best care to infants at CTMC.”
DeStefano further suggests that those who want more of an outing for the day might consider taking mom on the San Marcos Heritage Association’s Home Tour that same weekend and conclude their day with a meal at Palmer’s. Proceeds from the Home Tour benefit the Heritage Association’s project to renovate the gazebo in Veramendi Plaza.
