In addition, new partnerships with the City of San Marcos Healthy City Task Force, the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and the San Marcos Daily Record will expand the event to include a “second-half of the expo hall” with wellness, fitness and nutrition exhibitors.
Last year, more than 1,900 area residents registered for screenings and more than 1,600 participated in HealthCheck directly. Pre-registration and utilization of one of the pre-event blood draws is recommended and already underway. Pre-event blood draws will take place at CTMC and at the following locations in nearby communities. (All blood draws take place from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and require at least eight hours of fasting prior to blood being drawn.)
