SAN MARCOS, TX – Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) in San Marcos was honored for being a long-time member of the Texas Hospital Association. CTMC is one of only six hospitals throughout the state to receive a 50-year membership award from the Association this year.
During a special presentation at CTMC July 9, Texas Hospital Association’s membership manager, Della Vallejo, presented the award to Gary Jepson, CTMC President/CEO.
“Central Texas Medical Center has joined the ranks of an elite group of Texas hospitals that have achieved 50-year membership status in THA,” said Vallejo.
The Texas Hospital Association is one of the largest hospital associations in the country and serves as the principal advocate for the state’s hospitals and health care systems. Based in Austin, THA enhances its members’ abilities to improve accessibility, quality and cost-effectiveness of health care for all Texans.
“Since CTMC was established in 1960, the hospital has had a supportive relationship with THA,” said Gary Jepson, CTMC President/CEO. “We look forward to celebrating more milestones with the Association.”
