CTMC Offers Autism Support
SAN MARCOS, TX – A new school year is right around the corner and now is the time to help your child prepare for classroom activities. If your child has been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or have concerns about your child’s cognitive and motor development, CTMC’s Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute offers a treatment program to meet your child’s needs.
Symptoms to watch for include decreased focus on a task, atypical emotional outbursts, poor social skills, poor balance and poor eye contact. Children may also exhibit a delay in language and speech skills.
“With more than forty years of combined experience, our occupational therapist and speech-language pathologist can create a specialized program with a maximum therapeutic benefit for your child,” said MeMe Lake, director of CTMC’s Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute.
For information about individual or co-treatment sessions, please call the CTMC Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute directly at 512-753-3625 or visit www.ctmc.org.
