CTMC Offers Weight Loss Opportunity With Weight Watchers
SAN MARCOS, TX – Just in time before swimsuit season, Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) Institute for Healthy Living and Weight Watchers are teaming up once again to provide a new 12-week Weight Watchers series starting Tuesday, March 8. An open house will be held for anyone wanting to know more about the series on Tuesday, March 1 at 12:00 p.m. in the CTMC Community Classroom located in CTMC’s Professional Office Building.
Weight Watchers meetings begin with private weigh-ins that help participants stay on track with their weight loss goal. Each week, leaders discuss a specific topic such as stress-eating or family meal ideas. Members are encouraged to share strategies that have worked for them.
“We have had wonderful success with the Weight Watchers program in our community,” said Jessica Mease, Institute for Healthy Living Operations Coordinator. “During our fall program, a combined total of more than 175 pounds were lost by 25 individuals.”
The group meets each Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the CTMC Community Classroom. The 12-week series is $144 with 14-weeks of free e-tools.
