SAN MARCOS, TX –Autumn cooking doesn’t have to be a trick. Treat your guests with healthy and delicious meals. Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) Institute for Healthy Living is offering, “Autumn Cooking Tricks & Treats,” a free healthy cooking demonstration on Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the CTMC Community Classroom.
The cooking demonstration will be lead by CTMC’s Dietary and Nutrition Team. The program includes three unique recipes along with samples and handouts of the recipes.
“Fall is a busy season for entertaining and it’s important to maintain healthy eating habits,” said Alicia Westfall RD, LD, CTMC Food and Nutrition Manager. “People tend to eat more during the fall, so making the right food choices can keep a healthy lifestyle in balance year round.”
