CTMC's 25th Annual HealthCheck Expands Exhibitor Offerings
SAN MARCOS, TX – Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) 25th annual HealthCheck is Hays County’s largest health fair and screening event and it continues to grow. This year, there are more than 50 exhibitors participating who will offer screenings and provide valuable health information for the entire family. CTMC is celebrating HealthCheck’s 25th year with a larger event and a special reduced anniversary rate, on Thurs., April 28 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Embassy Suites in San Marcos.

“We are pleased to see so many local businesses and health care organizations come together to provide this unique event for Hays County and the surrounding area,” said Clay DeStefano, CTMC Administrative Director of PR and Marketing. “HealthCheck provides the rare opportunity to speak with health experts and physicians on a variety of topics, while having the area’s largest concentration of free health screenings performed at one convenient location.”
In addition to the exhibitors, presentations will be offered by members of the CTMC medical staff. Topics include low back pain, stroke, dermatology, vein treatments, renal disease prevention, women’s health, dental health, lung disease, heart health, diabetes, pain management, arthritis, a nutrition and healthy cooking demonstration and a cancer update panel.
In honor of the anniversary, the already-low $35 fee for nearly $500 worth of valuable tests is being rolled back to $25. Pre-registration ends Friday, April 22 or you can register at the door at HealthCheck, Thursday, April 28.
