CTMC's Fit Family FUN DAY will provide a free afternoon of healthy, fun activities and entertainment
SAN MARCOS, TEXAS
– Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) is pleased to present its first Fit Family FUN DAY on Sunday, April 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. along the CREATION Health Walking Trail that encircles the hospital. The event is free, and all are welcome to attend.
This CREATION Health event will provide an afternoon of entertainment for the whole family, including a one-mile fitness challenge, children’s activity booths geared toward educating a total wellness lifestyle, music, door prizes, a photo booth, snacks and much more.
“We are pleased to offer this free afternoon of fun and fitness to the community,” said CTMC Administrative Director of PR/Marketing Clay DeStefano. “We hope to raise awareness for the 8 CREATION Health guiding principles that have put countless people on the path to achieving optimal wellness.”
At the event, children will also be able to sign up for CTMC’s new kids calendar artwork contest. Winning art will be displayed in the 2015 CREATION Health calendar to be distributed by CTMC later this year.
Participants in Fit Family FUN DAY should bring hats, sunglasses, socks and comfortable shoes and clothes. For more information, please call the CTMC CREATION Health Institute at (512) 753-3818.
