SAN MARCOS, TX
– Regina Henderson assumed the director position at The Live Oak Health Partners (LOHP) Community Clinic on Feb. 4. The clinic was established on Jan. 1, when a partnership between the Hays County Personal Health Department and Central Texas Medical Center took effect.
“Regina Henderson comes to us with years of experience in the local community,” said LOHP Physician Practice Administrator Lenore DePagter. “She is a great addition to our team and shares our ministry and vision.”
The LOHP Community Clinic, located at 401-A Broadway St. in San Marcos, provides family care, well child exams and immunizations to Hays County residents in need.
“My passion is helping others and helping children and families,” Henderson said. “The patients that we serve here are in a great need, and if I can help them in any way by providing quality health services to them, then I feel like I’ve made a difference in their lives.”
Henderson is an alumnus of Southwest Texas State University, where she earned her bachelor of social work degree. In Aug. 2009, she received her Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Systems Management from Grand Canyon University.
Henderson resides in San Marcos with her husband and two teenage children. Before taking the position at the Community Clinic, Henderson was employed by Community Action – Head Start for more than 24 years, most recently serving as the health services coordinator. While in this position, she coordinated immunizations, wellness exams and dental care for head start children.
