CTMC Gala Auction Features Luxury Items
CTMC STARS OF TEXAS GALA TO FEATURE
LUXURY AUCTION ITEMS
SAN MARCOS, TX – Imagine you and someone else flying round trip to Las Vegas, staying two nights at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino and both of you seeing George Strait live in concert during Super Bowl Weekend on February 3 and 4, 2012. That is just one of the many items the Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) Foundation has available for bid during the 19th annual Stars of Texas Gala slated to take place on Sunday, Oct. 9 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center in San Marcos.
In addition to the George Strait live auction item, this year’s silent auction features a variety of luxury items. Gala attendees can bid on two tickets to see the Dallas Stars, two tickets to see the Texas Rangers or a James Avery bracelet with matching earrings valued at $600. Anyone wishing to bid on these and other auction items must be present at Gala.
“There is something for everyone in this year’s silent auction, from a complete concert experience to jewelry and sporting events; our auction items offer a unique variety,” said Jerilyn Miller, CTMC Foundation Coordinator. “Along with the auction items, this year’s Gala will feature award winning entertainment and all of this will support CTMC’s expanding specialty cardiac services.”
Seven-time Grammy award winner Ronnie Milsap will be the featured entertainer performing hit songs such as “Smokey Mountain Rain” and “Stranger in My House.”
