Central Texas Medical Center: News

– Dozens of participants have shed pounds and improved their health during the most recent Weight Watchers series offered by Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) Institute for Healthy Living.  An Open House/Registration for the next series at CTMC will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the CTMC Community Classroom.

Weight Watchers meetings begin with private weigh-ins that help participants stay on track with their weight loss goal. Each week, leaders discuss a specific topic such as stress-eating or family meal ideas. Members are encouraged to share strategies that have worked for them.

Weight Watchers is now offering a monthly pass for the discounted price of $39.95 per person per month with 20 or more paying participants enrolled.
