Whether you’re battling cancer or simply want to prevent it, nutrition plays a big role. Adding more fruits and vegetables to your diet is one of the biggest pieces of advice I can give for protecting yourself against cancer.
It’s always the highly colored fruits and vegetables that have a lot of phytochemicals and antioxidants, and those are proven to safeguard against cancer. Some superfoods I recommend are blueberries, broccoli and strawberries. Garlic has also been researched for its ability to defend against cancer. Eating less red meat and incorporating more vegetables as a protein source is also beneficial.
When it comes to cancer prevention and good health in general, place your focus on creating an overall healthy lifestyle. Maintaining a healthy weight is especially important when it comes to preventing cancer of all kinds.
