SAN MARCOS, TEXAS
– Live Oak Health Partners (LOHP), the largest multi-specialty medical practice in Hays County, today announced the grand opening of the county’s only dedicated Occupational Health Clinic. Co-located with Live Oak’s Walk-In clinic at 1941 N. IH-35, the new Occ Health clinic will provide local employers pre-screening physicals for new employees, drug screens, safety exams and work injury care among other services.
“The Central Texas region supports a thriving manufacturing community as well as large employers like distribution centers, school districts and large university systems,” said Live Oak Health Partners physician practice administrator, Lenore Depagter, DO, MBA. “We’re very proud that we are able to establish the Live Oak Occupational Health Clinic so that local businesses can focus on keeping our local workforce healthy and productive.”
The clinic serves an unmet need for San Marcos businesses and manufacturers by providing a full spectrum of occupational medicine services to help companies ensure a healthy workforce. Additional services at the clinic include surveillance examinations, drug and alcohol testing, treatment of injured workers and preventative health services.
The Live Oak Occupational Health Clinic is part of the Central Texas Medical Center family, so clients are easily referred for specialized services such as CT scans, MRIs or physical therapy. To inquire about services at the clinic, call (512) 353-6428.
