SAN MARCOS, TX
– Fans didn’t take their eyes off the stage when Neal McCoy gave an unforgettable performance last year at Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) Stars of Texas Gala. The night was such a success, in fact, that McCoy will return to entertain guests again at this year’s event. The 21st annual Stars of Texas Gala, the premiere black-tie event in Hays County, will take place Oct. 13 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center in San Marcos.
McCoy has sold more than 6 million albums with five no. 1 hits and is the entertainer of choice for many country stars. The Stars of Texas Gala will once again feature gourmet dining, a truly unique silent auction and an opportunity to mix and mingle with nearly 500 of San Marcos’ finest.
Proceeds from the Stars of Texas Gala support service and technology expansions that keep CTMC on the leading edge, including CTMC’s expanding cardiac services, a new chest pain center, an expansion of the Women’s Center and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This year’s gala will once again benefit CTMC’s expanding da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery program. Tickets to the Gala cost $200 and may be purchased by calling 512-753-3687
