Next Healthy Living Series at CTMC will address well woman exams
SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – Anne Bailey, APRN, WHCNP-BC, will present an interactive lecture titled “Well Woman Exams” as part of Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) Healthy Living Series. Bailey is a nurse practitioner for Live Oak Health Partners Specialty Care.

The event will take place on November 20 at 10 a.m. in the CTMC Community Classroom at 1301 Wonder World Drive. Refreshments will be provided, and guests are encouraged to ask questions.

The CTMC CREATION Health Institute’s free Healthy Living Series are 30-minute lectures led by physicians, clinicians and wellness experts. The series will conclude next month when Stuart Shapiro, DO, speaks about hip replacement surgery on Dec. 18.

The hospital, which originated in 1923 as Hays County Soldiers, Sailors and Marines Memorial Hospital, was restructured in 1960. The present facility was opened at its current Wonder World Drive location in 1983.
