There's something for everyone in Stars of Texas Gala silent auction
SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – From hill country wine tastings and hotel stays to name brand handbags and jewelry, there will be something for everyone in this year’s Stars of Texas Gala silent auction.

Those who participate in the silent auction will have a chance to take home an English bulldog puppy or enjoy a one-day guided bull or cow elk hunt on the Ingram Family Ranch in Comal County.

Sports fans are in for a special treat this year, as they will have a chance to bid on a $4,000 package that includes a suite at the AT&T Center for 22 fans to watch the Spurs vs. Indiana game on Nov. 26, as well as a food and beverage credit.

In addition, a Big Game Package, provided by Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa & Conference Center in San Marcos, includes overnight accommodations in the hotel’s Presidential Suite with plenty of entertainment space to host friends for the “big game” (i.e. Super Bowl, National Championship, etc.) The package also includes 4 additional overnight stays in a spacious 2-room suite with breakfast and an evening reception for guests included. The winning bidder will also receive a game day spread that includes wings, sliders, a veggie tray, jalapeno poppers, chips and dip, and more.

Also up for grabs in the silent auction is a 2014 NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard jersey.

In addition to the unique silent auction, Hays County’s premiere black tie event will feature gourmet dining and entertainment by Country Star Lorrie Morgan. Proceeds will benefit the new Women’s Center for Breast Health that is opening at CTMC in October.

The Stars of Texas Gala will take place on Sunday, October 5 at Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center in San Marcos. Tickets cost $200 and may be purchased by calling (512) 753-3687. For more information about the event, please visit
