FINDING YOUR WAY THROUGH THE CTMC CAMPUS
Medical complexes can be hard to navigate. We are committed to making your visit as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. If you are having trouble finding a CTMC department or service, please ask any available CTMC associate to assist you.
Our ICU is the only department that asks that a family designate one member to act as spokesperson. This person would be responsible for communicating with and updating the rest of the family and/or friends.
For your comfort and safety, our parking lots have 24-hour security cameras. Security officers are also available to escort you to your vehicle after dark upon request. You may contact security by dialing Ext. 0 and the hospital operator will connect you to security.
Our Gift Shop is located in our Main Lobby and is open Monday- Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The shop is run by our CTMC Volunteer Auxiliary and offers a wide variety of items, such as personal gifts, fresh flowers, plants, greeting cards and candies.
You may purchase newspapers and magazines in the Gift Shop. Area newspapers are also available for sale in racks out in front of our Emergency Department entrance.
PUBLIC PAY PHONES
For your convenience, pay phones are located in the hallway that connects the hospital's main lobby to the Professional Office Building.
We strive to provide you and your guests with clear access to use personal cell phones throughout as many areas of the campus as possible.
Unfortunately, cell phones and some medical equipment, like ventilators, IV Pumps and monitors, operate on the same frequencies. As a result, in areas where cell phone use is prohibited, signs are posted stating so. If you want to use your phone, but are not sure if you’re allowed to, please feel free to ask any CTMC associate you see in the area.
FREE WI-FI INTERNET ACCESS
We are pleased to offer free Wi-Fi service to our patients and guests. The service allows access to the internet from your wireless device.
To access the service:
• Simply access your wireless configuration software and choose: “AHSGuest.”
• Go to your web browser and enter desired website address.
• A security pop-up will appear. Click “Yes” to proceed.
• You will be asked to accept our "Terms & Conditions."
• You will then receive a “Thank You” message. Click to begin your session.
FOOD, BEVERAGE AND SNACK NEEDS
CTMC is pleased to offer a full range of dining options for you and your guests.
Our Cafeteria is located on the 1st floor and is open to visitors from:
Breakfast Service: 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Lunch Service: 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Dinner Service: 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
The cafeteria offers hot meals, vegetarian options, soups, sandwiches, salads, drinks and other items available throughout the day. We ask that you do not provide patients with snacks or drinks without the permission of the nursing staff because they may be on a restricted diet.
Mochas & Javas Internet Café is located in our main lobby and offers a variety of specialty beverages, fresh baked goods, soup, salads and sandwich options from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Free Wi-Fi internet service is available throughout the Café and lobby seating areas. Ask about Wi-Fi access at the Café or at the Main Information Desk in our lobby.
In addition, Vending machines offering snacks, cold foods and drinks are located in the Emergency Department waiting room and are available 24-hours-a-day.
We care about your spiritual well being as well as your physical health. The Hospital Chapel, located in our main lobby, is always open and features two prayer services per week:
Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The Hospital Chaplain is available to help patients’ family members deal with fears or concerns about hospitalization, as well as to provide emotional and spiritual support. If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call the Pastoral Care office at Ext. 3653, or ask your nurse.
Clergy of all faiths are welcome to visit their congregates. If you would like assistance in contacting your Priest, Rabbi, Minister or Pastor, please contact the Pastoral Care office at Ext. 3653.
